I am a picture maker. Most of the time I start a work by “not knowing” — forgetting everything I’ve done and letting the unknown give me the answer. No icons identify my work — an aesthetic perhaps, a way of making marks, a point of view about the world. These are all impressions from my personal archives. Many of these are the last remaining impressions from an edition of prints — most are unique.
